why are most brits gay?

There seems to be a hell of a lot of Brit bashing lately from the Yanks. I mean we are now either the bad guys in their movies(the Patriot etc.) Or they change the history books to make us us look bad or to undermine our achievements (U571, Pearl Harbour etc.) I was just wondering why this is what have we done to merit this? Maybe in the politically correct US we are the only ones to have a go at left.

I am comfortable enough with my sexuality to be able to act a little camp once in a while. I dont feel the need to act like a redneck all the time. But dont confuse this with being gay as I am not. I think this applies to a lot of brit men.

next: Due to recent events there is an extreme rise in nationalism over here in the states and as most of us cannot come up with actual reasons why wer'e better than country XXYYZY we must fall back to slanderous tactics. It's sad I know but the sad fact is the majority of our nation happen to be REDNECKS. Yes, REDNECKS. Hard to believe I know. But it's true. You know that indiana has the highest population of Klan members in the states currently. And they're not even a part of the south. You know why they have such a huge Klan population? They're ignorant Rednecks (now I know that not every one in Indiana is a Redneck, and not evey one in Indiana is a Klan member and not all Rednecks are Klan members) and whiners. Blaming evey body but them selves. "I'ma drunk and I ain't got no job. It must be dem black folks fault." "I'm not able ta make muh woman happy. Better go out and fag bash." (this is not limited to Indiana)

So whats my point? People will always and I mean always try and take out there insecurities on people different from them. Be it race religion creed or sexual orientation. I've noticed one main reason people "fag bash" is because they are not secure with their own sexuality.

So this brings me full circle, I think Radium is just looking for a shag.

Hey Crom you may think that there is a lot of Brit bashing coming from the US. But me being an American in the UK has witnessed Yank bashing at it's finest. Crom-dubh, I agree with what you said about the U-571 thing, it was indeed the British who managed to get the Enigma machine from a German sub. However, I do not see how Pearl Harbour undermines the British effort. As far as I'm aware, the Hawaiian archipellago is not one of the British Isles.........
