whos cut their chinstrap?

so whos cut their chinstrap out of their goggles? i have heard you cant do this for certain tourneys (KOTH?) but i do wanna cut it out if its perfectly acceptable

Any ideas?

Don't know of anyone that actively forces chin straps to be worn.

I don't cut mine it doesnt bother me, and then if it gets enforced I'm fine.

Get some grills, the straps are removable so can be taken off or replaced in seconds

yeh i did look at some grills but i dont wanna throw cash around when i've got perfectly good goggles already, just debating wether it might be worth the risk of cutting it off, heh if i do an they do enforce it, it would be a great excuse to shell out more cash

I never even knew goggles had chin straps until my third pair...

Older flexes never had chin straps anyway (presuming ya got flexes?)
So just lop em off and be done with it
As mentioned already, I dont know of/have never witnessed anyone actually checking this although its been in place(the rule about it being illegal) for a while.

Just be sure to make sure you do a clean cut and leave no evidence if ya want rid of em
