Which guns can really cut it at the highest level

I got a seriously tricked Angel and an Eclipse Cocker, and frankly, lately I've enjoyed shooting the Cocker more than the Angel, as it just seems to perform better (in my hands, so Manike made a good point about personal preference).
Ha! I knew it, soon you'll never touch your Angel again! :D even if it is blue and shiney!

A Level 10 E-mag should be up in the top bracket, as shoudl an electo grip cocker IHNSHO

Doesn't matter what gun is best, the pro's will use the gun of whichever company gives them the best sponsorship package......
Tony, sooooooo cynical!

Having spent the last six years begging borrowing or stealing just about every top end marker there is, i have come to the conclusion that the RACE freeflow (yes the one that does 20 bps on the net!!:D :D ) is easily the best there is. However, the closest i came before this has to be the Dark LCD, the marker was sweeet!

But all i have to say is that with my shiny HALO an Armageddon and a Black magic reg the RACE is VERY happy to kick out 16bps + with no drop off (Thanks Morten!!!;) :D.

As for the e-blade, don't get me started!!!!! Hehehehe!;)

Manike - I'd have thought that the little jibes you keep throwing at Robo in this thread and tha other one were beneath you...I guess I was wrong.

Boy, am I going to regret this

You're either going to think this is a blatant and blasphemous plug (not my intention), ignore this post (don't think my sensitive heart could take that, TJ knows how fragile I am).

Or cut me to pieces which is my personal preference - so here goes:

Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine
Oct 02, starts on pg 130.
The real author is named in the last paragraph.
An update on the list is already approved by the editor and started.

(The sound of me running for cover with 9 markers hosing me in a 5-Man game.)

I have shot an angel and a timmy at millenium events and they are just fine. My marker of choice is an eclipse cocker with a standard trigger. Mind you the eblade frame at campaign made me think about upgrading to an electro. Essentially the marker is not the important part, the player is. Robbo has pointed out in the past that he has won most major events using a mag.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss...

But what does he shoot now? The marker doesn't make the player (not by a long shot) but it doesn't half help!

After all, I don't think many people who say that are using Splatmasters at tourney games.

Sorry its just one of my personal bug-bears.

BTW, Problem, wtf? I have no idea what you are talking about/ Is this coz I read the wrong mag (the one and only PGI the only international magazine to print things I write!). Please enlighten us!

Richard, enlightenment

A very foolish writer broached this very subject and dared establish a set of criteria by which various parts of a players kit (marker, pack, goggles, etc) would be judged. He then named in almost all cases a "winner". Now he did it to insight just this kind of conversation (there is no best of in any paintball piece of equipment) but also to bring some logic to the debate.

It was printed in the American-based Paintball 2xtremes Oct issue. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's never been a list of best of's, possibly for fear of sponsor / business reaction. The closest thing I'm aware of is What Paintball Gear annual with a scoring system but no absolute winner, and The World's Most Awesome Paintball Markers (13 Monster Machines), a listing. Neither named best of's.

Corrections invited. Truly, no plug or offense to PGI intended.

And guilty as charged.
