Downhill? Not from where ol' TJ's sitting! The old board consisted mostly of Shockwave and The Rushers talking about, um, Shockwave and The Rushers, whereas on the new forums only tournament and speak your brains seem to have this affliction.
Seriously though, where tournament players lead, newbies follow, so if you wanna take part in some interesting, controversial and lively debate, then try starting some up.
How's about starting with 'If the septics (as you so quaintly call us) are sooooo much better than the Euros and the Brits, then how come Shockwave won a Millennium? Luck? Bribery? Cheating? Or good old fashioned hardball?'
Or how's about@ Shockwave may have fluked a Millennium but they are noooo way good enough to make the finals cut at an NPPL: discuss.

Firstly, nothing wrong with talking about Shockwave and Rushers - both teams beat NPPL winning pro teams last weekend!!
Secondly - if you are looking to incite a flame war with your sad "We're Yanks and better than everyone" comment (no matter how toungue in cheek it was meant!) then I think you'll be out of luck. I would rather let my play on field talk for me than mouth off on here.

Exactly dude - the whole point of 'here' is to mouth off. Flame war? Um, that wouldn't be a very smart thing for a moderator to do, would it, being as I'd have to spend my time clearing the mess up.

I'm sure Matty had got a ton of interesting stuff to say about the game, and I'm just trying to stoke him - or you, or anyone - into doing it to make the forum a more fun place.

On a slightly side note - Thanks to all the US/Canadian teams that come over for the Millenium events, we all love shooting at you (although not getting shot by you!!) and especially Rosie and the guys from GZ for marshalling in Sweden, prehaps a couple more US teams could do alittle marshalling every now and then!! (as if!)

To be honest I tried reading that article but it just seemed to be so full of crap and 'whack' americanisms that my mind refused to let it in.
On a similiar note why do you refer to yourself in the third party? Only our Queen does that and she is allowed to be pretentious.
How did you get to write for PGI anyway? Were you Robbo's biatch when he used to grace the US with his presence or something?
It's a shame they are letting such useless drivel into PGI nowadays

Ahh well I wanted a fight.. not as if I have enough work to do anyways! lol.
(note the above is tongue in cheek and not meant to offend anyone accept septics who have problems with their sex lives...)
Interestingly enough, Brit women flock to me since I came over here, so I guess we got ya on that one Manike! Granted there are fewer women over here, so as per myself that would be a lesser gravitational force than being able to lure all of the chicks in the US, but still not bad. One thing's for damn sure: we can beat any Brit in the kitchen or backyard grill any day of the week. Also we can dance better too.
I can't say for sure as to whether American women or British women are better in bed...hmm...lemme go try some more examples, preferably brunette, and I'll get back to ya later on that one as soon as I reach a definative conclusion...
