Manike - as someone who gets his grubby mitts on lots of tasty markers, I'd be interested to know if you've found much of a difference between the latest stuff (Angels, Intimidators, X-Mags etc) and antiquated stuff like Mags + cockers?

Is it just a case of funkier looks, less weight, lighter trigger pull and faster cycle rates, or do you find they offer anything in the way of better consistency (velocity wise), better gas efficiency, less breakage and even possible better accuracy(?).

Skaffen I think all of the top markers have different things going for them. I could write a very long article on the four guns you mention about why I play with and enjoy all of them.

I'll say one thing though, I can pick up my X-mag, my intimidator or my Race cocker and happily go play with them. They all shoot very well.

Some have small quirks or advantages over the other's but ultimately a lot of it is personal prefence and you can't go far wrong with any of them.

My ideal gun, would have the styling, size, and delicacy with paint of my X-mag, the comfort of the IR3's grip frame, the ease of firing fast of my intimidator, and the fun of the back block and efficiency of my race cocker.

I'm working on it ;) but probably without the back block :( :p

Manike,
you're lucky to be able to afford all these different guns. I saw you shooting your timmy this weekend and it was very quick. I wish i'd seen beaks shoot you, that would have been funny!
As a matter of fact, i saw five or six different players shoot team members! Maybe it's a brit thing?

It's not a bad idea owning a back up marker. If your mate wants to come play or something like that it's a good oppertunity for him to give it a go with something other than a site marker.

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
X-racedator IR3

Manike that sounds like fun, if you mange it let me know!!!

You've gotta have the back block though, perhaps just a decorative one driven from a small solenoid!

Can I also make a few additions?
How about the voice from the excellerator 6 and a cyclone feed!!!

:D

Red, I'm not sure it's a 'luck' thing. Contrary to popular belief I have worked pretty hard to get the kit I have. :D I believe to a large extent you make your own 'luck'.

Isn't blue on blue an American/Canadian thing? :( Let's hope we don't see anymore in our near future.

It was funny that Beaks shot me. I just wish he'd let me play a bit more of the game first

As for my timmy... yeah it's fast. I was playing the little X on the middle field and shooting 7 pods somehow... :D :D :D I let a few others try it out on the range and most were grinning afterwards. I was averaging 15bps on field (I have made 17!)

IanC you don't know how close you are... but shh I might have to kill you if I reveal any more :)
