1. She won't buy you a gift.
2. You will have to buy her an extra special gift, as an apology.
3. You may have to go round her parents house on boxing day.

Get this. I was in the loft earlier looking for something, and I thought I may as well get the tree etc.. down, save having to go up again later.
I go downstairs and tell her "I've got the tree down, put it up if it's bugging you that much." She goes, "Awww, thanks, I'm off on Saturday I'll do it then."

Its all about the kids in this house (including the 'big' ones.....).

Tree went up this week as we have all family (From Lincoln) over on Saturday for a 'present exchange' day. Clutters the place up. Only good thing about it all is when it comes down and all the decorations go away our lovely house seems spacious and uncluttered... (bliss)

Ours is up now, Mrs Chuckwood was very excited and I have the job of placing the tinsel around the house now.

putting ours up tomorrow, after which one of the cats decides he's going to live under the tree and the other tries to climb it. Wasn't too bad when they were kittens but as one now weighs over 5Kgs he bends the branches....
