Out of interest, what were the sports councils arguments for not recognising it ?
If they recognised it as a sport then more people would find out about it and take it up. This would mean more people playing meaning there will be more players getting better meaning we would have more players to choose from and more pros and be able to whip the yanks. "to promote, develop and achieve excellence in those activities formally recognised by the Councils"
Hmmmmmm i see their point, they said this due to the fact that the yanks whoop our asses in tourneys and they dont want to endorse a sport which would make them (and England) look bad
Jus a thought

As always I am currently waiting for a reply from the Sports Councils to my last letter which totally annihilated their last set of feeble arguments as to why they shouldn't recognise us
I have been working on this for over three years and I'm really starting to get annoyed with them now. They bring a whole new dimension to the concept of bureaucratic Red-Tape
......And more English people going home crying after being mugged outta another win by the yanks.Originally posted by jamphi24
