A smooth surface is a must. If you could make a sup'air field just out of larger bunkers, like big bricks and coke cans that would be good, coz they could fit their wheelchair behind those bunkers, and then theres no reason why they cant learn to play tight just like any normal paintballer. You would have to make the field a little more compact with less space between bunkers so it isnt too difficult to make it into another bunker without being shot out, because its probably slower moving a wheelchair between bunkers than a person running and diving.

probably not a bad idea if you could get enough wheelchair athletes to have a go at least once. Think of the publicity, paintball the best equal opportunity sport in the world

A new olympic sport on the way, Chairball. You don't have to be disabled, but it helps. :D

No seriously this could take off.

ok, how the fook do u intend to hold a gun 1 handed for 8 minutes whilst repotting, shooting 15bps and wheeling yourself to your secondary? thast would be 1 slow game!

edit: this post is not made as a piss take in any way shape or form, just thinking how hard it would be for a wheelchair user to play paintball, but if their is a team who's players have got disabilities, big ups to them for doing what they do and how hard it must be to play such an active sport.

You could run the gun remote from a divers tank, with a reg on it, force fed paintballs from a big store of balls, gun on a svivel mount off the chair, and electric powered chairs. Very high tech. Laser targeting, gps, infra red for night games, and of course paddle change for the gears, ferrari style.

Although smileys have been attached in a couple of the posts above, guys you are so far out of order its unreal. Of course the "usual" game as you and I play it couldn't happen and PGI or its previous incarnation carrying pics of some people in chairs playing in senario games and not a sight of flat ground there. So it has been done..and to have an exihibition game would be fantastic for raising the profile of both paintball and people trying out a hugely different thing after having to be in a wheelchair. Try and keep the cheap jokes for PM's. For your information I worked with disabled people and the last thing any of them want is sarcasm. Never heard of the Paraplegic Turtles? A requirement of membership of the team was that you had to have a limb missing, and believe you me those guys could play and unless you saw the lack of limbs you would never had known from the hail of paint coming your way...oh and they always made the 50 before the "able bodied" team
