A properly timed 'cocker will not chop as long as the shooting rate is matched to the feed rate. If the bolt is coming forwards as a ball is only half into the breech, all the timing in the world isn't going to stop that ball being chopped. The faster you shoot the more chance you've got of this happening. If gravity and a revvy will feed at approx, 13bps and you can get the trigger faster than that, chopping seems to be almost inevitable.Originally posted by smartecosse

This can happen even with a Halo, I was walking the trigger on my eBlade and the shot pattern "burped" as it held back the bolt. If the eye wasn't active that would have been a nice mess in the breech, the hopper, everywhere!
You might think it's belt and braces but it works for me!
