I've tried both!! Played with both and have to say that my race Freeflow is the fastest most accurate (with 14" boomstick) marker i have ever fired. The after sales care that race provide is comparible to WDP or better and at this stage in its developement the race has had pretty much all the bugs i can think of ironed out. Yes the eblade may come with an eye and it may be cheaper, but i have chopped twice and one was due to a lack of double ball detente!! If you want to trya race then i will be at the wurzel bash and will be happy to let you have a go! Just look for the really spangly marker and the large crowd!!

e-Blade (chrome) from planets website - £324 (inc VAT) plus postage, plus a few 9V's per yr
Racegrip (9V), and eye kit, from race website - £313 at todays exchange rate (race grip is priced in US dollars), plus postage and way less 9V's per yr, plus the chance to upgrade at a later date to the full blown rechargeable 5V version, then you can use proper grips of your choice, such as dye stickies etc.

I will concede that the clipse boys got the look of the 5-way housing done nicely.

BTW when are Race releasing the bolt on cost extra Display? They were talking about it last year but I've heard nothing since.
oh and is it still £100 plus fitting for the eye and it's two wires epoxyed onto the marker?
Go eBlade! With WGP backing it you know it makes sense. Even Tabatha has one now.
i still don't understand the fuss about the eye either for the rce or the e blade. a properly timed cocker, which these will be cos its electronic, does not chop.
