In the January issue of Paintball2Xtremes (I flipped through it at Wal-Mart) it says that you are likely to be cut from the All A's. Is this true?

Sorry for prying

Hi Nick

Yes a nice list but I would not say showing off at all its pure fact and the question was posted, I didnt put years though as I did not really see it as a CV type thang!!
You seemed to have pretty much the same reasons as me for stopping with the AAs, I see your dilemna fully, its only when you do it for a couple of seasons and then understand the amount of time you spend away from your family and work that it really hits home
Yes I have a life outside paintball with a job and kids to look after and its not really worth it in the end

Nothing too dramatic about it, despite all the rumours flying about.

I simply could not commit to finding the 60+ days I had to take off work, to play for and train with the team.

Being European on a US team, means you spend about double the amount of normal workdays travelling, as the US players do.

- For instance a weekend practice is no time off work for the US players (fly in Friday night and out Sunday evening), while I have to take off from work for 3 days to make the same practice.... Not least because of the stupid scheduling for flights between the US and Europe.

That means spending some 18-24 vacation days for practices alone. Then 5 NPPLs (27 vacation days), 6 Millenniums (being European means "only" 18 vacation days for me) + other major tournaments on top of that... well.... you do the math !

- That degree of freedom for paintball, unfortunately won't materialize until the day I find myself working in the paintball industry..... When it comes of age !

I am still best off friends with the whole team, and Bill & Adam fully understod my position.

I WILL miss dressing up as a smuf (the blue AA uniform) and yet destroying ! :D
