Personally I gota go for some Blue's, a dash of acid jazz / normal jazz (Not experimental jazz. I'm not that sick) Also into D&B and techno (I want the bass to set my heart beat)

Ben folds five are pretty cool, also like black box recorder, but for getting ready for a thrash you cant beat some old Limp Bizkit, off spring or progidy.

John(SAD) if you like porn music then try a Gert Wilden & his orchestra album, officially 70'2 style porn music (with album sleeve graphicly demonstraiting all the films he worked on)

Mr Brown - you are the Resurrection.

I dig those Roses in my quiter moments dude, but I gotta agree with some of the guys on here that before a game it's gotta be Tool, Deftones, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Jimmy Eats World, Lit, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters...something that rawks, or else Public Enemy or Wu Tang or some intense Belgian techno.

Post-game is the time for Massive Attack, Tricky, Air, The Roses, Zero 7, Aim, Led Zep or some other chilled ****.

Only two kinds of music my brothers - and that's good music and bad music.

Peace.

I dunno, music is kinda mood fitting for me. Most often on the way to/just before games I'll listen to: Pantera, Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, Alice In Chains, Metallica (Cliff Burton years ONLY!!!), Van Halen (David Lee Roth years + For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge), AC/DC, and Tool.

Afterwards to relax I'll throw in some Rush, U2, Cypress Hill, Pink Floyd, or Leftover Salmon.

cool now there's some very good music being mentioned here! good to see Stone temple pilots mentioned a few times. i saw them at brixton in the summer and they were awsome live(only a 9 year wait) and a few weeks before i saw Tool who were quite frankly stunning live. anyone been to good gigs this year?

and don't include the limp bizkit tribute band i just saw (limpish bizkit!) tonight. they were poor.ok the band was ok (apart from the guitarist)and the singer wasn't bad. but i always think its tragic when the band their copying are still around.would have been cool if the dropped the L and became impish bizkit and were migets. would have got a bigger crowd anyway!
i am looking forward to the Jam tribute band next week though.
