Oh lordy,

In no particular order at all

Leon, Blade, Akira, Ghost In the Shell, Appleseed, My Neighbor Totoro, Flying Island of Laputa, Empire Strikes Back, Fifth Element, Delecatessan, City of lost Children, Taxi, Matrix, AI (don't laugh), Full Metal jacket, 2001, DR strangeglove, Clockwork Orange (oh yes my brothers), 1984 (hammer version with peter cushing), All the Quakermass films (ahh british sci-fi !). Blazing Saddles, Everything You wanted to Know about sex (but were afraid to ask), The Jerk(steve martin when he was funny), Magnificent 7, zulu, Alien, Aliens, Blade Runner, The Duelists, Gladiator, Se7en, Fight club (brad pitt in good films shock!), American Pie, American Beuty, road trip, Unbreakable, The Cell (forget lopez, that film looked fantastic), shrek, toystory1+2, bugs life (i'm a computer animator), Shawshank Redemption, Hudsucker Proxy, O'Brother Where art Thou?, the
Big Labowski, plattoon, Apocalypse now(not just for the helecopters), Usual suspects (keiser sosze!), Gross Point Blank, Titan AE(just gorgeous!), Lock Stock (though the series stank), all the Tarantino films, Evil Dead 1,2,3 (bruce cambell, showed me how best to play paintball, BOOMSTICK!!), all the python films, the longest day, bridge over the river qwai, saving private ryan(typical yanks won the war stuff but excellent none the less).

That's probably not even half, Don't get me started on books.

HP Lovcraft, Brian Lumley, PF Hamilton, Pratchett, Ian M Banks,
Clive Barker, Joe Haldeman, Adam Roberts, Douglas Adams, Dan Abnett, Kim Newman. and a lot more.

you should be able to get Pirvirella on Black Star or Play 24/7
I can also recommend Razorblade Smile (the lovly Elleen Dayley)
Miss booth was also in a cradle of filth video. Utter b movie pap but fun with some completly over the top effects. Saw that in a lecture on my Digital Entertainment degree at Uni, and yes I do ovwn a leather trench.

LOTR films will kick the proverbial donkey. As a member of staff at Games Workshop (we're making a series of LOTR table top war
games) I've seen some of the stuff a little earlier and frankly it's probably going to sink Star Wars.

yes tony, I remember Cites of Gold and Ullyesses 31 anyone else?
stuff got me into anime/manga.

but what about Starfleet, Terrahawks, Dangermouse and Bannanaman?

damn
Ghostbuster 1 and 2, Back to the Future 1,2,3 and Jurassic Park.
The second one had nice improved effects but a story that was a mess. JP 3, liked some of it but it was just all of the stuff that was left over from the original book that the first film didn't use! except the bit with muldoon, a pack of raptors and a TOW MISSILE LAUNCHER!! why wasn't that bit used!! oh yeah just a bit on the gory side. No "clever girl" here just whoosh, BOOM, dead raptor bits.

I'll calm down now.

here we go I've such a varied interest in film that it's hard to say one is a favourite ...but if I will buy it or tape it off the telly.

Lethal Weapon series,Resevoir Dogs,Stir Crazy,High Plains Drifter,The Crow,Star Wars series....am eagerly awaiting episode 2,X-Men,Predator,A Bridge too Far,Con Air,Lawrence of Arabia....(stunning film),The Nightmare Before Xmas,Kelly's Heroes,Black Mask,Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,Enter the Dragon,The Good the Bad and the Ugly,Men in black,Monty Python and the Holy Grail,Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure,Lock Stock and 2 smoking barrels,Highlander,Joe's Apartment(sing and dancing cockroaches doing 50's swimming routines in the toilet bowl was too amusing)..and lastly i'd say the Lost Boys.

Sorry bit of a long list but I hate t.v.

As to books...oops..cant choose books here so will just settle to name favourite authors if you don't mind.

Robert Jordan,Raymond E.Feist,Clive Cussler,bernard Cornwell,William Gibson,Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,Sven hassel,Terry Pratchett,Robert Rankin,Poe.

And I hate Tolkein.....boring get!!....if I wanted to read an 4 page description on a tree I'd buy a gardening book!
