no not really, the two DM6's will go quicker, and the one at £300 may take longer.

you say your DM5 is worth £160.... so by that, a DM6 should be worth £290 at least, due the UL frame (which costs £150 new) thats not factoring in the extra weight that has been milled off for a lighter marker, the newer style feedneck clamp... plus when people put upped bits on like boards, trigger, flow plugs.. i could go on.

if i got a ul frame mine would still only sell for £190
i can see what your saying , i will watch the dm6 inquestion , see how that goes.

and to me £240 is a good price which if i got rid of mine first would be happy to pay :)

FAIL

thats the thing - you would be happy paying £240 - so would most people - but its worth more than that and so should be put for what people will pay for it.

its simple economics. elasticity of demand.

yes but you see, he's used your advice as a guide.. and as there hasn't been many up for sale that haven't been sponsor/team/update driven.. people think that is the going rate, when it just isnt

this is why old sale threads need to be deleted

maybe it is worth more - but seeing as there is one forsale for less on the forums - means someone looking for a dm6 would take that one first.
then thats the buyers loss. if you want to comepete with that then fine - your loss.

if you hold out that marker will go and yours will be left - someone will buy it.

give up - your ruining the market.

it doesn't matter if they are a sponsered team selling them or not.

people will always try and pay as little as posible.

a product is only worth what someone will pay for it.
yes and as i stated earlier its simple economics - elasticity of demand - try reading about it someday.

There is always someone willing to pay more than another person - it may not be by much, but they will.

its easier to explain with a graph but the fact is people will pay more for it therefore it is worth more.

it has been a year since i did economics but the principle is there its all about elasticity of demand.

but basically your wrong.
