What happens if you put a paintball in the microwave?

farcical as this thread was when i started it, at least it was related to paintball. we'll get deleted if we don't at least mention paintball in our replies.

Ok, im a bit wierd and do this stuff when im bored....so here is the best stuff to try....

Ever made plasma? Get a cork and put a cocktail stick in it, light the tip and turn the microwave on for 3 mins...balls of plasma will roll around inside....

Stick a bar of soap in for 3 mins, it will increase on size by 5x

Stick a 40w bulb in the microwave, cover the metal with masking tape....leave on for a few mins and when the glass melts, the gas escapes and makes a green/pink/purple aurora inside.


I get realllllly bored

is fun when mixed in equal proportions with (deleted technical bit for safety reasons) a chemical you won't be able to by in SuperDrug! and heated over a bunsen burner so it melts, (highly dangerous though and should never..ever..be done unless by a qualified chemist or an idiot! I've got scars o prove it and I'm a qualified chemist AND an idiot).

That's how the early smoke bombs were made, and to keep this vaguely on topic that's what I was trying to make the smoke bombs for about 9 years ago to liven up a game on a site I was marshalling.

NOT recommended though....almost as bad as making nitroglycerine or thermite.
