What happens if you put a paintball in the microwave?

never put a paintball in the microwave,but in science at school we put a fly in the microwave and cooked it a little.the thing on inspection looked dead.ie it wasnt moving.but now the cool part when it was touched it just flew away.pointers if your going to try this at home.think hygiene and gentle toasting not violent death by gamma for the fly.its supposed to live...

I saw it on a Jack Dee show sometime ago and he put assorted identities on the eggs(spice girls and any other peeps he didnt like )
The eggs blew up but didnt blow the door off lol.
