I don't have any trouble with WHSmith's they do put it in my folder and for a while I was the only one who ordered it...as they had dropped it from the shelves stock at the time...not now as they (or maybe PGI?) have several on the shelves each month the woman who does the ordering did say it was because I had ordered one so they figured if one person wants it others will too...very rare for me to see them pulling it from the shelves to SOR...the only problems occur when they are supposed to recieve all of their magazines from Menzies..they are the fly in the soup when it comes to supply not WHSmith's. Did hear a rumour that Menzies and WHSith's are connected as WHSmith's owns part of them...how true that is I don't know as I said it was a rumour I have heard.

Whilst I dislike the internal layout of the "new look" PGI with a passion...horrible colours and the gear section with all the highlights and terrible font used...trying to line up which pic is connected is with which part of the text is a nightmare...a gap between each line of text would help but then perhaps PGI have to use every mm of text space to allow Kingman to have more pages of adverts.
That aside I see the new banner works as it IS easier to see on the shelves...shame it is still with all the Airgunner etc titles when if it was in the "youth" lifestyle section...snowboarding/skateboard/BMX section, sales would rise at an alarming rate. Sfterall snowbarding etc are all different things and yet they are together.

Re. Fast Show...mmmm seemed ok as one was talking about safety even though one wasn't wearing goggles and then the "joke" ala Biker Grove...not good...the rest of the sketches were ok and why Paul Whitehouse couldn't wear googles other than around his neck is a little beyond me...as they weren't using face plates we could for sure tell who the people were  , the normal excuse that is used is that wearing of goggles and mask's stops the the viewer knowing who the character is.

there s one thing i have to say to that.

everyone is different.... we all like different things.
every sport is different... and there needs to be a sport for every type of person... in our case guns...

(i hope someone can de-code that and put it in better words:D)

pah, no problems.

hmmm, well I have no problems with my local WH Smiths (Lakeside). Always a few in stock, nicely nestled amongst the other BMX, Skateboard and Snow Boarding mags, with not a Soldier Of Fortune or Urban Hardware (Muscles are out, Guns and knifes are in), within 10 feet.

To be honest you should buy two copies a month, one to read, the other to keep for Nostalgia / contingency purposes. And at only £2.95, it's barely a bottle of alco-pop from any good London Pub (and won't leave you with a hangover). Cheap as Chips, ave it.

Nah, plug of the day was after picking up January's edition, My offer of running an Impromptu signing session in the lobby of WH Smiths.

Unfortunately they declined as Busted were also in doing a single signing, and Store Security had concerns about the additional policing needed to cope with the additional hordes of screaming ladies.

The cozzers were also concerned that with only about 20 copies in store riots and mass looting may have followed.

Oh and a Happy New Year to all!!!

I was lazy one month and phoned my local WHSmiths (coz I couldn't be arsed to go there in person) to see if they had PGI and they told me that they don't stock it and never had. I questioned this and spoke to the 'supervisor' and she told me the same. which is really weird because i've been buying it from them on and off(between subscriptions) for the last 2 years!

Quality staff!
