Quote Divisions for Welsh Open
Here are the divisions for the 2nd Welsh Open 2003.

They were seeded randomly, and have thrown up some very interesting match ups.

Here's how it's going to work, you will play all teams in your division on Saturday, the points you score will be recorded.

You will then play all teams in your division on the Sunday, this time you are playing for trophies 1st - 3rd in each div.

The aggregate scores are then added together and the 8 highest scoring teams will progress to the KO finals.

many players i spoke at the end of the day on sunday were very disapointed to find that there were actually no trophies for 1 -3rd in the divs but only for the teams that got through..... major confussion and dissapoint ment for many teams that work so hard for a trophy on the sunday....

can you clear this one up blakey...

The torny was really good as usual, your staff was 1st class, great two days playing, we didnt do well as we could , but hell we just got on with it , all for charity what else can you say

Blakey you kno me mate I love your tournies, and this one was no differnt except for one thing.

I really really didn t like this 'wildcard' thing, I think its very unfair that we fought so hard and got 2nd in Div B and not to get a place in the semi's or a trophy.
We only never made the finals because a team in div A got 50 more points (gutted).
Would have been much better to just take the top 3 teams from each Div into the semi's or sumthing, because to be honest mate I felt robbed

Did you agree with the reseed on sat night ?

The crew worked hard to get new div's together ,i really think this was the best thing to do as there was a very broad specturm of teams at the welsh open if it was left as it was i feel that some teams would have gone home very disapointed.

We didn't miss you at all!! (Only joking!!

As usual it was superbly run by the Midlands Masters team and the judging was its usual high standard. As I said on the day, the whole Midlands Masters series is the best tourny series we've played for a good few years.

Keep it up and we'll keep coming back!!

Yeah mate i agreed with em, when we seen we got seeded to Div B we thought excellent!! Sum good paintball tommorow. I loved the whole tourney mate as I do every MM event, was just a bit gutted at this 'wildcard' thing. Cause a team in Div A got 50 or so more points or sumthin than us, they got in.
