Not that ive posted in this section before (hi) but im pretty sure doing that is illegal. I dont think they have to provide it for free but if they stop you taking in water ... it cant be right. I know at concerts they try to stop you taking in bottles and such to lob at the stage and hurt each other with, but hey, you are all carrying in shiny paintball markers to shoot at each other :).

Some lawyer type should look into it (google laywers :p) or if you wanted to get in with it maybe all paintballers should suddenly become diabetic or somethin.

...and the "Dullest Paintball tournament finals" award goes to...the EXL.

RL just dominates, how long are they going to be motivated playing EXL. Time to introduce the Millennium Series Open X-ball and MS Div 1 X-ball.

RL - Dynasty...we want our moneys worth!

Do they have a right to search you and refuse you entry?

It would have really pissed me off if someone wanted to stop me entering an event because I had water with me. That kind of thing is appalling when it comes to people participating at an event where they need to make sure they can look after their own well being.

Correct me if I am wrong but don't the NPPL provide free fruit and water to all players?

Stopping players taking water in is treading on very sticky ground, it only takes one to pass out or become ill through dehydration and it's hello law suit.

Can we assume this won't be the case at Campaign?

It was a friggin joke, Jim from Just Paintball got the tires on his van slashed due to some water issue's. I witnessed Nexus trying to get water through, and watched some VERY aggressive security guards pushing and shoving J-doe.

The event was excellent, its just a shame the security and rules were harsh.

There was also some interesting stuff going on with taxi's at the end of the event too.

Lots of 'back door' cash was taken I think!

Before we all cough up £100 each to play Campaign Cup, would the 'management' like to clearly state on these forums that we WILL be allowed to bring in our own food and drink... as this is a Millennium Event???
