I think the first guy to send out that pepperball into the fifty would be the one on the winning team because remember pepper spray has a pretty big radious, you try playin ball after gettin a good dusting from pepper spray.
A pepper round to the eye might take out the eye but you'll still be alive. The rubber bullets, excuse me "non-lethal crowd control munitions"

The paintball rounds are a lot safer than rubber bullets.Someone mentioned the spread radius of the pepper spray - the paintball version has a pretty limited spread. A buddy of mine who's a cop has used them (practice only) and says they don't spread more than a couple of feet. Still, you dump a hopper or so into a crowd and I bet they break up pretty quick.

what a novel idea, I am going to take a pot of them out on the field and unload them into the first person to wipe on me, that will teach him, ohhhhh new idea, give them to marshalls with pt extemes to deal with people who cheat/play on, they will think twice about doing it again.
Yes because firing a 'pepperball' into any of these situations is really gonna work.
peace keeping missions for example...where you have some very nasty people with ohhh let's see a few AK-47's, LAW's, and some mortars. PEpper ball to the rescue

Er, yes, but rubber bullets are fired one at a time, and you aim them a bit better. Your not emptying 200 at a time randomly into a crowd.
And anyway, didn't you see the glass shatterer rounds? I bet the police get a lot of call to just come round and break windows from a distance, very useful and no other possible use I can see for them.

So are these things actually in use right now? Cos once ppl see the police using this gear then at the very next demonstration/riot/anti-globalisation march protesters are gonna be packing halo-b'd e-blades with marshall shields... THAT will give a good image to paintball...
