Walk On - NPF Bassets Pole (UK)

Aren't the walk on days at NPF a bit expensive. I have never been to one, infact i've only been playing for a few months but as far as i know it is (correct me if i'm wrong) £10 for entry. Then you buy all paint there. Paint at the NPF is £7 per 100balls which is say £7 a game if you're conservative, and there are 8 games in the day. Total that up and you've got around £50-70. Is that right? What do you guys do about gas as well, do you have to pay for refills? I am only an inquiring newbie so forgive me for my ignorance, i jus wanna know. You never know, i could end up playing with you in a year or so! I wish. Thanx for your replies...cya

no fee for gas it's free

paint is cheaper for own gunners and is even cheaper for members.
altogether an own gunner pays about £50-£70 a day as you said but you get a lot more paintballs out of £7 than you do as a punter

Yeh thanx for that. Thats hugely expensive though isn't it. I certainly couln't afford that. What do you mean by "you get a lot more paintballs out of £7 than you do as a punter" do you get more balls on walk on days for the price? Finally how do you become a 'member' like you mentioned. Thanx for all your replies people...
By the way permboy, what gun do you own, and what age (if i may ask) are you and how often do you play.

a punter get's 100 for £7 and an own gunner get's double if they are a member.
you have to own your own gun to be a member and you just ask at paint sales. also i take it you've played a couple of times so why don't you try for a marshalling job? i'm a marshall and it's good pay mate.

also i own a bushmaster i'm 16 and i play at least once a month.

Class! I didn't expect you could be a marshall so young! I'm 15 could i be a marshall, i really want to but i thought i'd be too young. You get £35 for each day you do right? Thats great news. When did you get your bushmaster and where did you get it. Thats a pretty mint gun isn't it.

That is dead cool. If anyone else can help me out with regards being a marshall at NPF i'd most appreciate it. Can i do it at 15, because i've never seen any marshalls that young. Any and all advice will help, thanx...
