Venue for UK Masters 2007

I do agree that the hill and playing on slopes sucks a big fat one but Uttoxeter is only 40 mins from the ferry terminal so it meant we could get the 6.00 boat back and get hom on Sunday. Lincoln means travelling for ages and finally getting home at 6.00am on Monday morning
If we do change sites can we pick somewhere nearer to the north and then everyone can whinge about having to trek for miles every other month and so we all get a go.
Lincoln was great, leicester was ok too but Kidderminster and nottingham sucked. Not played at Kettering yet but my teammates say its great.
MANCHESTER would be good (hint hint)

you're already talking like a northener, why not come up and give it a try.
you never know you may find the overcast sky and sunny temperement of the people appealing.
besides every one knows that northeners know how to party so it makes sense to host a recreational event there!

Rosie isnt manchester closer to you than licoln???
Well uttox and lincoln are very long drives for me time wise but lincoln is the one that is the most distant from me and i think i would rather drive there instead of uttox cus it is just generall a better site.
But goin there in the winter months mite cause a problem with coming over peak district as i got stuck in a blizzard there this year and almost crashed a few times but still worth it.
shame you cant get some more event at the welsh open venue or a venue in cheshire or merseyside area .
