Ok we were on site yesterday and there is going to be a lot of work done to get site up and running. But we have decided to make at some stage an area for airball. Although at the moment we have no intention of buying a field. It will be set up in the coming months ready to grass etc.It will then be on offer for hire etc and club membership set up. We do not have the time to set up clean and wash airball bunkers. So once set up this will be down to players / members. More details will follow.

so if you aren't supplying the bunkers, or doing the cleanup, are you providing the land and air for free?

What would be the point in that for the field? They would make literally no money off of the players, but would still be giving up their land and netting/posts that they mentioned.

I'm with Liam and the fact that all the failed promises of an air field near Edinburgh make me sad, but this sounds promising as the local players don't need to wait for a field to sink several thousands of ££'s into bunkers.

On the Facebook group it says £7.50 green fees for the first year then £10 after that, with the club charging players extra to cover cost if they wish to.

The facebook group? Could you provide a link for that?

EDIT: ignore, I found it earlier up in the posts.

Well considering the bunkers won't even be available unless those that want to use the place chip in for them, and you still get charged nearly a tenner every time, think i'll pass on that.
