To be honest, all of the Uni teams gave us a good game, and it was so pleasing to see so many uni's turn up for this one! Us Pompey guys came hoping for some good games, and good games we got all day! (Though I think we maxed UEA pretty easy...)

Particular credit goes to Birmingham B who gave us a good game, with only FOUR players; Aberdeen who attacked us with a gutsy (but futile ;)) runthrough and UWE who didn't come last and were wearing bin-men jackets and using inferno's all day! :D

Can't wait for the next one guys!

Also, in our penultimate game against Kent, that blasted Kaz Parish has me pinned for ages!!! Good work!

you jew! considering none of us had played a tournie before and that was our first game of the day we had no idea what to do, what topped it was some players guns ****ed up. considering our lack of skill and the society only being around 6 months i believe we did well to take out even one of you consdiering you guys were used to your guns.

Also some of my players have not even touched a eleci hopper before so didnt realise they had to turn them on!

Very true guys, good call... but I'm from Suffolk and am glad we could sort you out! :D Seriously though, from coming straight out the woods, it was pretty good! (and Frank, who you owned, was one of our better players as well...so nice one!)

Everyone had a really good game, and the Sportmanship was outstanding which is my main concern when playing any sport. I think I speak for everyone when I say the day was a resounding success!

Yes, that was something that i had considered. If each of the rounds of the league was held at a site near to one of the participating uni's, then it would be good if the local uni could advertise the event and get some spectators.

If we had a round up at NPF I reckon Birmingham would be able to sort out a coach load of specators, a beer tent to keep them happy and perhaps bring down a squad of cheer leaders. - Well our cheerleaders have probably learnt their lesson regarding paintballers after last saturday, so they may be a little reluctant. But we can always try. :D
