oh god. where did thos piccies come from. the bottom right is pure evil. i though i was prettier than that...damn

2007 for the next inter uni thing....thats a hell of a long time.

Is anybody going to post any pic's of people actually playing (especially ones of me :D ) , instead of just the drunken mess that was saturday night. ;)

Nobody's claimed this hopper yet.
Also have any of you found a random pair of Green JT's while unpacking your bags? One of the marshalls that took the field down put them on a table and they weren't there when he returned.

Thanks
-EDD :)

there was a plan, that steve and I discussed ( am sure he won't mind it being mentioned)
that basically 4 unis would play in one day ie

Morning Teesside Vs Portsmouth

U-ball style ( x-ball for uni's )

Afternoon Birmingham Vs Kent

and so on, bit easier to organise just deps on costs, maybe 10-20 games depending on how quick turn around is ( prob about 15) with a scoring system just like 9-6 for example.
Rules would be decided before event can't be fussed to add them now

what you reckon??

Sounds good. the uni could host the game rather than travelling to bham every time.
I only speak for myself, but i certainly have a spare bed or two. Svae on accomodation costs.

It sounds like there were a lot of new players who have caught the tourney bug. It would be great to give them a chance to follow up their new found interest by getting together for some joint training sessions. That way the newer players could benefit from picking a few tips up from the more experienced teams. It would also be nice to invite the clubs who missed the championships (such as Imperial, York, Warwick and Hull) to give them a chance to get involved.

Yes i think it would be nice to do a couple of friendly Xball-Lite/M7 matches, both to try out the format and to whet people's appetites for the possibility of a league next season. But i think it would be good to do those on the afternoon of the training sessions.

As these would only be friendlys/training-days, it wouldn’t matter whether clubs could bring along enough players for a full team as we could always have mixed sessions/teams.

Portsmouth do you fancy organising a little university training/friendly day, down your way?

It would also be good to get a couple of recball matches going too.

uwe would definately be up for some more torny based events as hopefully we will have our own stuff next year (looking at ions or spyer fenixs).

I think that with the hard work that the likes of Steve have put in it will only be a matter of time until BUSA recognises paintball as a sport. Also any more pics of the day or the night out you lot had (i wish i could have been there :D )
