Hi, I was wondering if anyone in the UK actually used a timmy because I know they are quite hard to find overseas, and if you do whats is the gun's reputation over in UK.

They are increasing,

Zap bought a few in, while a couple of us ordered ours direct from the states.

and if you have a Timmy - www.paintballkingdom.com is where it's at :D

The stock Classics need some tinkering, but the new 2K2's are good stock.

With a few mods the guns are the best there is, I really can't fault mine :)

Thank God! Yeah a 2002 with a volumizer mod is just about perfect when set up with an air system and a Halo B. I play for an Amateur B team called Colonial Fury and all of my team mates use Angels. Sweet pieces of work, but too many options and the weight are just impossible being a front player.

True, but the volumizer mod and a modified trigger are about all you can get for the GZ and combined the cost about $50 Bringing a fully loaded GZ to a grand total of about $1000. Vs a $1400 CC IR3 Angel which is awesome stock.

Paul.
Hmm... let me see

$600 for the classic
$125 for the board
$50 for the bolt
$50 for reg so LP mod it

So for $800 (ish) you can have a gun that's (IMHO) at least equal to anything there is out there.....and I believe better.

So what can you get in the UK for £550 odd, new and modded up :)

Case rests

But I agree, markers are all about preference.
