does anyone know anything about this??? what i want to know is wether Viewloader are breaking any laws with its evlution 2 hopper

i have a z-board egg, VL claim "The all new eVLution II with force feed electronic loader won't starve your marker, no matter how fast you shoot. The eVLution II features a feed rate that matches a marker's optimal fire rate up to 17 balls per second." and the z board is supposed to be faster.

my z board egg running on my eblade in psp mode will only feed to 11bps, which isnt even close to 17bps let alone more.

have i just got a duff one, or are VL just liers????? my halo feeds it fine at 15bps. we pay a lot of money for our kit, and should expect better than this i think. what is everyone elses opinion on the matter???

Don't think it is duff mate. My EGO in PSP stutters really badly capped at 15bps with a z-board egg, they just can't feed at that rate, maybe in short bursts (which is how they may be able to claim 17bps) but defo not in strings... hence had to go to a Halo!!

its got to be wrong that they make statements like that quoted above yet they dont actually do what they say

Unfortunately thay say "up to", this means that in some controlled test sometime in the developement of the product it was clocked at 17bps. If they said "it will feed constantly"at 17bps" then they'd be breaking the "Trade Descriptions Act", but at the moment they're just on the right side of the very thin line

Check the small print, if they don't get round that one, then you might have some claim......... but it's a US company so good luck

I think Jose has it right with the idea that they can wriggle out of their 'starve your marker' claim.

Basically if I give you bread and water twice a day for a week I ain't starving you. But I'm not giving you the food you need.

In a dodgy analogy kind of way, if your loader feeds at 11bps it ain't starving your marker, but it sure as hell ain't doing the advertised 17bps that you and your super-ramp special blade want.

now, i read somewhere that if you do "the paddle mod" it will feed loads faster

the question is what is the paddle mod?????

is it a matter of putting 100 balls in the egg and turning it on timing it till its empty into a pot and then doing the maths to work it out?

If so ill do mine later as my impy is fast with no paint in it but considerably slower when putting paint through it.

no mate. mine will drop at over 20bps, yet if wont feed into a gun that fast

Its hard to imagine that when a gun shoots at the speed of the hopper, that the speed can vary from gun to gun. But with 'gravity fed' hoppers it can.
Its down to the cycle time of the gun.

Upping the LPR pressure might help.
