Each day it could be some one different. At the higher levels it gets harder to tell the differnce between teams who play each other regularly.

One day Shock would win then the tigers then Shock again. Ya just never can tell

Its just like trying to assess who the top team in the States is. What with Dynasty dominating it would be easy to say them, however with the likes of Shock, Ironmen, Bobs, Trauma, Effect, NY Extreme and others playing NXL, it is impossible to say as they wil never meet this season.
I didnt mean at all, and neither did i say, that the abscence of some teams affected Nexus achievements. i merely said that in the states at the moment it is hard to see who is the best team as they are all playing different formats! i didnt connect Nexus with them at all.

So you see Sam, you mentioning Aftershock and co bears no relevance to us qualifying at all especially when you look back at previous Brit attempts to join the Sunday club.
i agree, and at no time did i even say that it did

As for over here, we have played in just two tournaments
That was mine and Manike's point, and makes it hard to guage who the best team is.

I fear our exclusion from your initial list has little do with rationale and much more to do with other issues.
Such as what? I have no idea why you would think that, i happen to have a friend on Nexus, and i was one of the ones who wished them luck in the thread on here before Huntingdon and Vegas. i hoped that Nexus would do well, so i fail to see what you are implying here.

I tell you one thing, we are up there somewhere.
i totally agree, and my not including you was merely based on the fact that i had never seen you play, and would not be stupid enough to take the views of others as my own. i see nothing wrong with that, and dont see why anyone else should either.

Who is the best??

Its a bit of a laugh a bit of a distraction on a boring day.

I think it is a little irrelevant as Tigeers have placed in Millenniums recently, Shock pulled a great result in Germany too.

Nexus havent placed (yet) but have been in the Sunday club in the US of A.

I'd say all three teams were vying for top spot, with Tigers and Shock edging it at the moment simply because they have results that run a little deeper than ours do.

But do we lose sleep over this?? Not a bit. All of Nexus have taken a keen interest in how these teams are doing (all Brit teams actually) and we support the Brits abroad.

Who has top spot can, and will change and this will happen from tourney to tourney. But not quite being there means we are hungry for it and in the nicest possible way (as only Brits can) we are gunning for the top spot!!!

Lets wait and see but bragging rights mean nothing to me - its finals places, shiny things and cash money that do it for me. A Brit 1,2, 3 would do me fine!!!

yeah, i guess, but whether they are a 'top team' is something i cant comment on. if the topic of this thread had been who are the good teams in the UK then Nexus would have ben up there in my first post. but i havent seen you play, so whether or not you guys are the top team is something i cant comment on. whereas i have seen tigers and shock play regularly

For the most part I agree with everything you say Mark, but I think Tigers are the best team...but that only goes to show how close it is now but our goal as you know is not to be the best English team, we have set our stall out for a different title, and to that end, I will leave Sam to deliberate and debate the night away as to who 'he' thinks is best over here....... yawn
