lol. I did notice that John and you did restore a little of my hope. It's still pretty shocking that anyone, including the thread starter, can ignore the fact that the Angel was the world’s first decent electropneumatic paintball marker, a complete competition beater and 100% British. It's about the only major innovation to come out of British paintball and arguably the only one to have a real impact on the development of all markers across the game - it was a leap. Most of the stuff listed here represent baby steps, not leaps, and most are about as British as the hotdog.

But hey, I'm not one to rant about it.
My thoughts exactly. In fact I'm disappointed in Lump (who I usually think is fair and relatively level in his posts) for posing a question that ambiguous, and then providing a wholley subjective & partizan example of how he wants it answered. No wonder people are confused as to how to respond...

Mine are all Brirish, in order of their success and perception acheived abroad and at home at the time they were produced.

Ive had a quite a lot of markers over the past several years and i must say some have been more impressive than others and some a reet pain in the bum. Anyway here is my humble opinion on the top 10, and not in any particular order.

1. Berol Permenant Marker
Long lasting, economical and an all round general purpose permanent marker. Suitable for colouring in comatised friends during heavy drinking sessions.

2. Berol Toughpoint
Extremely durable nib for extended use on most surfaces - rough or smooth - including stone, wood, metal, glass, paper and plastic. Most important though it comes in grey or gold making it the most ideal marker out there to accessorise with.

3. Stabilo Boss Highlighter
Chisel tip gives 2 to 5mm writing line width. And i must say the yellow one doesnt half look pretty but stay away from blue.

4. Artline 100 Jumbo Permanent Marker
The efficeincy and usefulness of this marker comes second to the pungent and head spinning solvent effect that makes a slow period in the office pass that little bit faster.

5. Artline 130 Giant Permanent Marker
Like the 100 series but bigger, and dont listen to all this motion of the ocean garbage, the size of the liner DOES matter!

6. Staedtler Ominigraph Crayons
Smudge proof and waterproof on most surfaces, ideal for glossy surfaces but the biggest seller of this little beauty is that it can be used on wet wood, and in my experience the wood always gets wet in the end.

7. Staedtler Permanent Markers
This little gem is responsible for 90% of all the 'Becky is a slag' slogans as seen on bus stops and bus seats up and down the county. A national treasure.

8. EXP Bullet Tip Permanent Marker
Non-toxic ink marker with bullet tip for fine line writing and itching those hard to reach places.

9. White, Gold and Silver Paint Markers
Being black was so last year! Ask Michael Jackson.

10. Sharpie Marker Pens
If its good enough for David Beckam then its good enough for a sheet of A4.

edit// Blame lump for the ambiguity. :)

Technically it's Mudafunkas Victory now :p

On a sidenote there isn't much of a difference, if any between a LED and a V6 Angel. Only the very first few had the breech knobs on the left side due to Mr.Rice being left handed.
Also, the Eclipse Angels were sometimes known as V8 Angels :)

Sterling pump.

You could hammer nails with it and it would still shoot straight as a die and rarely chop a ball. They also seemed to be quite resistant to frosting up even in winter. It might be somewhat antiquated now but like a Russian tank they still keep on going years after they're technically inferior. I always used to carry mine as back up and it could hold it's own against semis.
