What? You are obviously lying. These guys are from EUROPE. EVERYONE knows that only those dirty American *******s do stuff like this. Maybe a US pro team was just borrowing the Ton Ton's jerseys.

There. I even marked it up in HIML (Humor Impaired Markup Language).

As far as the paint--what does anyone care? If Diablo doesn't like it, they won't sponsor them anymore. That's that.

1--what about the guy who remembered the truly ancient history of the mag over in SYB?
2--tell Joe he has to do it.
3--get the SuperMod to do it. ;)

Yes - shooting into the deadbox should be penalised severely

3--BUT - that having been said - it's down to the officials and judges at an event to regulate these things - so if you want to blame anyone - blame THEM !

4--I could mention MANY Pro teams (and teams in other categories) out there who play far beyond the limit of what SHOULD be done in paintball.....

5--and it's all down to officials and judges to regulate it.

1--So?
2--That's about as helpful as witnessing a crime, saying the perp should be punished and refusing to testify. What a strong stance.
3--How 'bout blaming them both? Let's see. As a ref I can come down hard on a powerful individual and team in Paintball or let it slide. What are the odds?
4--Well, in that case I guess it's OK.
5--No, it's down to Paintball at every level to insist on independent institutions to control the game so powerful interests and individuals can't unfairly manipulate the game.

When the referees fail to discipline a team that is taking liberties they shouldn't, social ostracism and public condemnation is the next best recourse.

Social pressures are more potent influences on behaviour than fear of consequences, especially when the enforcement arm of a community is so easy to bully around. If there is a chance of escaping actual punishment, people will do anything.

The paint thing is between Ton Tons and their sponsors, though. Maybe there was a good reason, maybe there wasn't.
