Am I the only person confused here?

5 Events, Germany and DM we know where they are being held.

Toulouse as advertised is not actually going to be played there?

Campaign - we dont know

Iberian Cup- we dont know

And no mention at all about the NPPL link-up (if any) which begs the question will the UK Pro Teams now have to make the trip across the Pond 5 times rather than 3 to secure their place for next season?

(btw the Mill page is offline, could be an update to the rather sketchy info already released)

or at least ours was!

and as for toulouse there is this big field where these things land constantly....cant remember whats it called...oh yes...an airport!!

so that cant be a reason either!
Your missing something here, Malaga and Toulouse are not MAJOUR airports. A Majour airport is one that most big airlines fly into, such as Charles de Gaulle, Heathrow, Shipol, Stockholm Arlanda and so on.

so it might be but there is a thing called transfers and malaga and toulouse are to my understanding at least major vacation cities so i would assume that there can be found direct flights to them!!

but of course i may be wrong

For instance I live in Geneva which is pretty central...... trying to find a flight to Toulouse is a nightmare and costs a fortune. Malaga flights were pretty expensive as well.

Yes transfers there are but it´s just that, it takes more time and gets more expensive. Well, a little threadjacking there so now back to the original discussion.

the point is toulouse & malaga were the events everyone wanted to play. brit am & novice teams would want to go to these events. i think now we'll go back to campaign being mainly brit teams, paris mainly french, germany & madrid likewise. we need to know more and soon otherwise euro paintball is gonna look ridiculous to our better organised friend across the pond

Why not go to Paris? It's perhaps the easiest accessible city for all teams. I just hope they will get the venue sorted out.

There's Toulouse.....and there's "not exactly."

I think the point is that Toulouse is...well...it's Toulouse! It has been the home of WC since it's inception, and is the event that everyone wants to play. It would be like moving the PSP WC to anywhere but Orlando.

I think that everyone who has ever played Toulouse remembers their first time, and just being in awe of what an awesome event it really is. And for those of us lucky enough to won in Toulouse, it is the ultimate place to win. You know that you had to play your ass off to get up on that podium because Toulouse always has the best field of teams of any Euro event.

Yeah, it ain't easy to get to, and it sure isn't cheap ($750 US last year just for my ticket), but it's worth every penny. I'm sure Laurent will put on the same great show in Paris because it's still WC, and I don't think he knows how to do anything half-assed. Wherever it is, it will rock, but to most of us, it just won't be the same.
