tippmanns

More Tippmann lovers!!!!
I love Tippmanns, if youve read my other posts I always push them. They can withstand almost any punishment, and still work well.
For a barrel, I've found nothing works better than a nyte stikk. Its a cheap, fairly lightweight barrel, which helps on a tippmann, and is also amazingly durable, it is also capable of shooting absolutely ANY paint through it well. A guy on my team uses the freak barrel system, and says every day that it was the worst buy of his life, he wants to switch to a nyte stikk.
Any way, there's my two cents, good luck.

Another good barrel for a Tippmann...

Another barrel that I've found works really good with Tippmann guns is the All-American Barrels from Smart Parts. I use the 14" All-American two-step (spiral porting) with my M-98 and I love it! I've used that barrel (in different lengths) on other Tippmann guns and have been pleased as well. :D

Re Tippmans

They may be durable and 'reliable' but they're butt ugly! Also have you taken your apart yet? The pins/ springs for the trigger/sear drive me nuts & also the clip for the elbow. How come they're never in the same place after you put the side on again????

We need to teach those spyder kids a lesson!!!!!!

I am a tippmann owner, and im convinced that they are the best rec ball guns ever. Tough, reliable, and being quite accurate are the tippmann's best features. However they do have drawbacks, they are huge guns (especially with big 14" barrels) so speedball is a little tough. Lastly, yet very importantly, the gun can't be fird faster than 6bps! This is critical, because the god of paint himself (Tom Kaye) said "the best way to get eliminations is accuracy by volume" and i believe it. You can never tell whether that ball will actually break!!!!

But it serves a beginner/novice rec player's every need, so if you are a newbie, go buy one. :) :D

A-5's are nice markers if your into rec-ball. I would only get one if you are a rec-baller. They shot quite accurate with the barrels they come with but i've never tried one with anyupgrades. If all you play is speedball this marker is not for you.
