Height wise it's MUCH better, but still way too long. Aim for about half the width and most people should be able to view the page OK without text truncating etc.

Thanks.

Ach du lieber!

You are right. I use classic mode, so the bolt stays back until I release the trigger. Otherwise I would never get a ball to feed when I don't use the eye. I will change the setting and have better luck and less to boast about.

Sorry if that all sounded pedantic. I believe in this product pretty strongly. As far as slipping out of time, I don't see how it could, the manual recommends a pretty specific kind of lug, and the rest is all down to things with threads not spinning around.

I guess I made an assumption about you shooting a Viking based on posts from another thread, Paul. And as you said on that thread, everyone thinks the marker they shoot is the best kind.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging of the eblades only voicing my own personal concerns.

I'm not suprised you made the asumption about the viking, I used to own one and rate them very highly.:)

Paul.

Yeah, I haven't seen the clip from Eclipse. I don't know how they have their settings. I know my own settings, however. You can make these things do all kinds of stupidly fast operations, to the point that it works against you. 14 bps is reasonable. But how many of us are reasonable? Restraint is tough to come by with new toys, although the techs at Eclipse probably have a leavening.

But at least they demo their marker as a semi', most of the other vid's I've seen that are screaming LOOK AT THE SPEED 20+BPS!!! are running full auto, and where can you use that?.

I think 14bps with 1 finger's pretty good.

I think the point being made here is that yes its fast, but it aint that fast.
Let us not forget Sandridge and Race have been doing the same thing for years albeit in a less reliable and uglier way in sandridges case :D :D :D

Speed

Guys,

Speak to the women in your lives.... speed isn't everything! ;)

To date the fastest speed that we have measured the EclipseBlade at in semi auto is 21.2bps - J-Doe, January 2003 - although Jack refuses to accept that anyone here is faster than he. The fastest speed that we have achieved in full auto is 22bps.

The eBlade will never be as fast as an Angel, Timmy, Impulse, etc. However, as most players cannot shoot their markers at their maximum rates of fire anyway (even though many players think that they can), the eBlade allows Cocker users to compete with users of open breech markers on a level playing field.

Greg (Camp Tigers) won the fastest trigger competition at Euroball II, shooting an eBlade. His competition were shooting all of the popular open breech markers. This does not mean that the eBlade is faster, simply that it can compete.

As with all things in paintball, you should try before you buy. But don't knock it until you've tried it.

But seriously now - are you saying that cockers are inherently more accurate than another marker?

I thought the Angel was very similar to it because it uses a 3-way etc??

Can you honestly say, hand on heart that a cocker is inherently more accurate than another marker?

And I mean if both markers used the same barrel system (Scepter/Freak or something), same paint to bore match, using the same hopper.

I'd be very interested to know...
