As far as air systems go, is the difference between a 4500psi bottle and 3000 psi bottle, just that the 4500psi bottle stays at operating pressure for longer? Or is this dictated by the size of bottle, eg 1.1l? Or combination of the two?

PSI refers to the maximum fill pressure of the bottle, and has no relation to the size.
I.E: A 3000Psi 1.1 L (68ci) Bottle is the same size as a 4500Psi 1.1L (68ci) but the 3000Psi can only be filled to 3000Psi, though the 4500Psi can be filled to 4500Psi. So you get more shots from a 4500Psi but the size is the same.

Damnation, if you like cockers (Cocker whore that I am) then there are plenty out there for all types of budget.....top of the line will be a DC2 E2 or a custom job (Dangerous Brian??)

DC2 (Directors Cut 2) E2 (Thats the board) are about £300-£350 second hand. There is the earlier E1 version (Not as fandango) which you should be able to pick up for about £200-£250. There is also an upgrade to that called a zero 1b board.....basically turns your E1 into E2...well almost

There are different models of Cockers (Trilogy, evolution etc) and they vary in price. If in doubt, ask....I did.....after a 10 year break I came back to the sport and haven't regretted it....

hehe, dont get me wrong, cockers are sweet guns Just frankly they arent on a par with the newer high end guns. They dont operate as fast, smoothly, quietly, efficiently as new guns. Cockers will always have a place in my heart though, awesome gats

E1'S been going for around £110 lately DC2 around £240. I can get standard Karnies for £450 and custom paint job ones for around £525 new.

Ok guys,

Gun is sorted, pm5 on its way , just need to know how many shots i can expect from the following tank sizes:
45ci / 0.8ltr 3000psi
45ci / 0.8ltr 4500psi
68ci / 1.1ltr 3000psi
68ci / 1.1ltr 4500psi

I know these things vary a bit but a rough guestimate will do,
