How would the marker ID be changed though, there is a hell of alot of marker changing hands on here and people meeting up to exchange at tourneys? Board pin number could be good but would present a problem with markers like shockers n DMs, with no screen.

youd have to have four buttons or some sort of combination of trigger pulls to on/off buttons pressed... something like that???

If sold remove RFID tag, ... tag stays with the person not the gun.

Maybe if there was less of this it wouldnt be so easy for people to walk out of an event with someone elses gun

i think the easiest ways to change id's on a tag would be some programe that you put on your pc. then all changes can be made with your keyboard rather than buttons on the marker. like i said all we need is a connection port the size of a digital camera and a disc sold with the gun. when you plug your marker in you get all the owners details up but cant change them without entering a pin.
i also had tags on my jetski that was scanned with a reader and when i sold it i had to tell the tag people like a log book on a car
just a few suggestions
