Flame time!
Well, I'm ready to get flamed---
I had no image of the paintball world when I first played. Two friends and myself were walking through the local Wal-Mart and saw some Blades for $20. We figured that we could split a pack of CO2s and some paint and have a good time. Masks were expensive so we decided not to get them. We agreed not to shoot anyone in the face, and played. Paintballs don't always shoot straight, so about a week later I shot him in the forehead. The next day we bought masks. You would think we learned our lesson, but as soon as they started fogging up we devised new ways to keep them from fogging(wearing only goggles, drilling air holes in them). Don't worry though, the paintball gods have smiled on me and given me the gift of knowledge(thermal lenses).
