So how does a leg less player play football/rugby? How does an armless person swim? How does a blind person play darts/bowls/cricket?

So, not all sports include all people. I think that "Sport England" link means that you can't actively discriminate. I'm sure if any 'disabled' person came up to any of us and asked if they could play - we'd give them the chance (at least, I'd hope so).

Raffles - those are really really bad examples.

The sport England thing - You're right - I may be interpreting that wrong. In which case i guess i have no leg to stand on.

I wouldn't like to ref a blind game.

I reffed a deaf game once, and once I'd worked out how to start the game, I then had to work out how to drag everyone out of the bushes once it was over - took over 30 minutes.

...after that we just played speed-ball

After many years spent reffing in the UK, Europe, the USA and the Far East, I would disagree with that statement.

There are many deaf and blind people that play paintball.

Am I right, fellow refs?
