Im a driver and as far as i know my company dont have any policy bout taking pball guns onto trains.

if your carrying it around in a threatening manner then you will get jumped on (which you would expect)

i can dig around and see if there is a policy for this but i doubt it.

Our Team captain had tip of his barrel out of his rucksack, and the guy at the gates stopped him asking what it was and it took him to explain the difference between a gun and a paintball gun, he eventually got on...

I know national express coachs say your not allowed to take air weapons or compressed air cylinders with you but then how are they to know?
LOL ignornce is bliss on their behalf

just keep it in a bag mate and noone will complain, its not like they screen your bag getting onto the train

As long as you leave it in your bag it should be fine, i've spent far to much time on trains and the tube with kit and have had my gear searched. Honestly they don't care. If they do stop you explain to them before they open your bag that you have a marker in there (in my case they got as far as my sweaty two day worn jersey and stopped lol:D )

As people have said before...a copy of PGI on top, in the bag is always a good idea...especially if you may be dealing with someone foreign (increasingly likely in the UK!) as a pictures are worth a thousand words..especially if those words are just loud English, with a crap accent attached in an attempt to convey your message:D
