1 - we have devon this year what looks like i may have to get a train .
2 - i have a nice indoor paintball feild not that far away from my college.
3 - we have reading this year what looks like i may be getting a train to .
4 - im going to summerset to my god mothers house for a week or so on my summer break and il be on a train there .

Our Team captain had tip of his barrel out of his rucksack, and the guy at the gates stopped him asking what it was and it took him to explain the difference between a gun and a paintball gun, he eventually got on...
As long as you leave it in your bag it should be fine, i've spent far to much time on trains and the tube with kit and have had my gear searched. Honestly they don't care. If they do stop you explain to them before they open your bag that you have a marker in there (in my case they got as far as my sweaty two day worn jersey and stopped lol )
As people have said before...a copy of PGI on top, in the bag is always a good idea...especially if you may be dealing with someone foreign (increasingly likely in the UK!) as a pictures are worth a thousand words..especially if those words are just loud English, with a crap accent attached in an attempt to convey your message
