I second that about Tom :). The other thing is, that when using a Halo with the IR3, you get a lot of 'Roll Back' this is a term for when there is too much pressure on the ball stack, forcing the first ball in the breach to 'roll back' and a second ball be in the breach. When the marker is then fired, the bolt hits both balls causing instantaneous paintball soup...not particularly my favourite...if anyone wants me, I'll be in the pantry getting some alphabet soup. As Steve said, use an Egg, and attempt to configure the sensi.

If the problem is to do with it being a high pressure marker and harder on the paint than an LP marker then a spitfire mod won't solve the problem. Although I believe that Mr Allen may well have a solution to that coming up as well :)

When I was having problems with the IR3, my A4 was running fine and the IR3 has been fine since, on a warmer day. I think the combination of high pressure and a very cold day doesn't work well :(

Right?

Incidentally the spitfire mod does allow you to lower the cocking pressure on an IR3 by a considerable amount due to Toms increased flow SENSI diverter.
I have a softnose, just wouldnt stop chopping. It was freezing when we were playing though, 3 degrees tops. I've used it since and it's been fine, so I just put it down to the weather.

Didn't know the spitfire also reduced the cocking pressure, so I stand corrected.

I've got an A4 that I'll be sending to you to be spitfired after xmas. So if you could pm me or email me with exactly what I need to send you and where to then I'll get that sorted :)

email's andy@3rdi-music.com
