right, the compartments actually have holes in the bottom, so the paint just falls through, keeping the compartments at the bottom full. if there is excess ballbreakage when i build the prototype then i could just line the insides with rubber or the stuff they make DYE sticky grips out of to keep it transparent!

or you could do it electronically, like me, and therefore not have pressurised hosing and pressurised backpack on :)

mine would also have a rechargable battery so you don't have to fill a tank constantly. the battery could be recharged from your car :)

gadget pack

why not throw in a few other ingenious little modifications, space for a remote setup, squeegee clips, a drinks bottle w/straw, m&m storage facility......mmmmmm, what else?

ok, so they're not all serious, but don't get tunnel vision over what you want it to be, be prepared to adapt/incorporate different aspects of the design.

and for god sake make them in different sizes! everyone forgets the little guy!

shoulder paint cannon..........

right. the pack will be quite small anyway, as size and weight are things that i will have to be concious about.

i was thinking that i could do velro pads on the sides/back with replaecable units for them e.g holsters, remote setups, squegee holder etc. etc.

as for the paint cannon i could try a tippman M203 launcher (launches paint bombs, like water baloons but with paint, and travelling at 100 mph!!) lol :)

remember still open to any mental diorehea and veiws. critisisms only help me to work out possible kinks (unless you are saying 'ugh, it's a sh!te idea get off our forums!')

Make sure this thing is easy to open up and clean out. You don't want long thin crevices and places where capillary action can lead to a need to disassemble everything every time you play.

Otherwise, Paul Collier will never have time to clean all the Halo Bs and all the Murdock Mc Monkey McBean's Amazing Backpack loaders.

no crevices so far, jut wide, open spaces. the design mean that the thing will come in half for cleaning and maintenance.

oh yeah, and i think i will call it the Cthulhu!

If you call it Cthulhu, everyone will call it something else, something easier to pronounce without familiarity with Lovecraft.

Cthulhu... k-hoola-hoop? I mean itis your invention, but you are asking a lot of us with a name like that.

Marketing?

Though the idea seems quite nice (though I know I have seen such a thing 2 years ago) but what about marketing??

I suppose the worst and most direct competition would come from the Warp Feed... The Warp Feed has all the features your design have around mobility (low profile, shooting lefty with ease etc.)
Second of all - remember the remote systems?? I believe people stopped using them because they felt bothered about the hoses...

Good luck!!

Pinky :)
