Using water pistol style guns (super soaker). not pump, keep the air systems.

Guns shooting at 15 bps is nearly as good as a stream of paint so the game its self wouldnt change much.

Still as messy, overshooting would be funny, no worries with crappy paint, ''full auto'' stream meaning no ''gun'' cheats, no welts, no huge battery bills for your loader and marker, kids can play.

Markers could be even smaller as they are now, more efficient and maybe even a sensible price. The paint could come in powder form which u just mix with water,or just a tin of dulux would do!

CHEAPER!!!

without claiming to be an expert on paint as such, i believe the manufacturing process is still fairly primitive.

I think paint will be the next area of focus, or markers which compress their own air supply.

kinetic battery packs perhaps, similar idea to that found in the watches?

have we got to the point where nothing is ground breaking and the only thing left to do is refine existing technology???

Im sure we havent reached the stage where no new ideas can be created. Lighter equipment could be a possibility. A new kind of feeding mechanism? Curved barrels for shooting round corners? :p Voice activated triggers? Would be cool for recballers, they would only have to make the same machine gun noises we all know they make anyway... Goggles with heat detectors in them? Terminator styleee!

Just a few crazy ideas :p

Goggles with integrated intercoms to your team mates would be usefull imo
paintballs that are more tolerable to heat and cold may be a good idea also

Manike had something to do with it?
I only styled and packaged it over the required internal components, the concept and development work was done by some other clever guys. :)

It can shoot arounf 400-500 shots per battery.
