though asking me to "pipe down" ensights that i have said something that has been out of line. though when 10 paying players expect the captain of the team to be there, and also on the day told that he will, its a bit of a downer for the players.

though as you say the players who turned out will be contacted, and im sure they'll be happy with a phone call explaining if they got in or not....

guys guys, Markie has had a lot of personal issues to sort recently, I know from past "trials" that we don't necessarily go through drills etc in order to see if you fit the team, watching you play is as good a example of yours skills as anything. Also its not just Markie that decides who is on the team, but everyone on the team can or does have input, so if Jake was given the job of looking at possible players, then he's the man. I'm sure all those players that played their socks off and had a good time will get feedback from Markie soon.

Not sure exactly whats going on mate as I've not been about, but I'm guessing the Dishforth trials will be held then people from both try outs contacted

hmmm yeah it was a let down that no trials were held , couple of guys spent a lot of money and time getting to the event.


big thanks to jake who tried his best to keep the punters happy in markie's absence.

some good ball went down , and i belive players went home with some new skills......but,still no place on a team....!!!!!!!!

i personally, would like to know what prevented the trials from happening and also belive another chance should be given to those who wanted to try out for the team....

i thankyou very much for thanking me, however i do take care of the training side of things, so it was my decision, i can see where you are coming from, although i was running the show so the people who we are interested in will soon know.

Trial or no trial i think everyone walked away having learned something. A great days ballin at a chilled out site. Hell even the northern weathergods smiled on us in the afternoon.

Just a shame you northern monkeys have no game Especially that tommy bloke!
