I AM NOT PROMOTING MY SITE AT THE EXPENSE OF AMBUSH. :)

Ambush offer a good service and have several teams that train there on a regular basis.

We dont want to take there business away from them, we just want to promote the sport of Paintball and offer another area for people to come and play and train.

All I am doing is explaining what we have to offer teams and individuals with regards to our facilities.

There are other teams all over the southcaost who might want to use a different facility. Ambush can often get booked up for the 2 weeks before a tourny so it means there will be other areas available.

As for the playing area, I have already said what there is on offer at present and what will be happening hopefully at the beginning of next year .

"This is not a battle between Ambush and Paintball Park and it shouldnt be."

AGREED

Ok,

I think we should step back a little as I’m sure although the guys at Ambush Paintball will be extremely touched to see the support they are getting here, they are not in the business of trash-talking the opposition, quiet frankly there is just no need.

For the past 15 or so years Ambush has relied on its professional reputation in how it deals with its customer base, they have now extended this self same professional approach from the traditional recreational baller to providing training facliilties for teams and walk on players and has proved extremely succesful in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Good luck to jibber and we look forward to see these new facilities as/when they become available, but guys if in the meantime you are looking to get some training in before Jibber's site is fully functional then feel free to call Christine at Ambush Paintball to talk about pricing and facilities that are available.
They will be pelased to accommodate you all.

Call on 07836 762 787

I know I have (very close) connections with the site as previous threads and general word of mouth has shown but this is no way detarcts from the validity of my post, the facilities and hospitality you will receive from the guys and gals at AMBUSH are second to none, of that, there is no question.

We look forward to seeing you there.

:)

I agree Ambush has been setup for many years and I am sorry if the prices were mis quoted.

All I care about is promoting the sport I am not making money in organising these events, all I get is the chance to play some cheap paintball and enjoy my hobby.

To also clarify this is not my site I am not the owner.

I am just one of the Marshalls who is trying to arrange a few training days.

Cheers

Ambush also run open training days, on a turn up and play basis at £10 a head.

And have been known to get the odd old pro down to impart their legendary knowledge  ;)

Hi all

Thanks to all for the ambush praise, i know it will make them happy to know their investment has been to the benifit of players local and not.

Just to add another price into the mix, Occasionally there are 'Open training' days held at Ambush- this is an opportunity for players who wouldn't normally train together or individuals to come down and play/train against each other in whatever format they require. These are always mentioned on these boards a few weeks before the event- these are £10 green fee per player, including the air etc- with no field take down charge so you can play the day an go home as soon as you're done.

I think it's great that more an more sites arond the UK are recognising the need for quality facilities for the UK tourny baller scene, with more sites the UK will have more players with access to regular structured training, i know for a fact that Ambush have provided a facility for the future- i know cos it took me 2 weeks of extremely hard graft along with the rest of my team to produce the 2 fields, and they will last!

And to be blunt - without the facilities and support i know quake would not have developed as fast to where we are.
