Hows your player that injured himself? I know it was his achilles but hope it wasnt too serious and recoverable.

Smoking Aces it was a pleasure and well done.

He's doing ok mate got his leg in a cast so no paintball for him for a few months.
I would like to say reffing on field 2 was spot on.
well done smoking Aces.

Redskins played M5 and field 2 on both days, the reffing imo was a bit harsh, BUT was consistant.

I say harsh as one of our players was hit on the pack at the bottle of his pots, he didnt feel it and didnt know he was hit, no one called a check on him. A marshall saw him continue playing and 1-4-1 him. As I said harsh but they did this with everyone.

They also agreed that our last game got a bit messed up and with the help of the ultimate and other team agreed to re play it.

Overall, I felt the marshalling I saw was good.

:D:D

Thats the rules, not the marshals being harsh.

i thought the reffing on the Tomahawk field wasnt very good at all....

but they did handle the incident with one of our players very well.

The refs wait for you to play-on if you have a hit where you cant feel it (i.e pack, loader etc..) and just stand there THEN asses a 1-4-1... (maybe this was to speed the games up?)

im sure poeple can argue this but penalties can go FOR or AGAINST you.

I would just like to express my dissapointment that team Havoc decided just to get up and leave on the Sunday at Campaign. They were in our group which already had a no show team which meant that we only got to play 3 games on Sunday.

The reason I heard they left was because of bad reffing which I personally think is a very selfish reason as you left a few times high and dry and an extra game down.
Sorry you were disappointed. To be honest, it would not have been much of a game anyway the way our weekend went. You didn't miss much. We pulled out for a variety of reasons, basically summed up by our complete inability to compete (or enjoy ourselves).

On the subject of marshalling we thought it was excellent on Saturday, but on Sunday we experienced mistakes (it's part of the game, sure); but worst than that we were penaltied twice after the game was finished for dead players talking. One of these occasions a player was asking the ref a question. We were not arguing, or creating a fuss, or swearing, ... or shouting. Maybe that's the rules (?), but we are only a nice bunch of guys, trying to play paintball fairly, and with respect to the marshalls and our opponents. And enjoy ourselves ! The penalties were the straw that broke the camels back.

Personally, I'm not complaining - sh*t happens, as we all know. This was a dreadful wknd for us, but life goes on ...

That just plain sucks, any ref who is deliberately "baiting" a player into getting a penalty shouldnt be allowed to ref - if you see the hit go in, get your ass over there and pull the player before they force you to asses a penalty
