I spent $250 (150 GBP) in Laroy, about half of which was spent on myself, and I didn't even puke once! Something definitely wrong there....

Perhaps you should have got the booze from some place else then. Perhaps around the corner from the guy in the ally.
Or you could have asked the swedish wikings from the north for some home made fire water. Would have saved you alot of cash!

btw 4£ is a freakin robbery, even for being in sweden hehe
