There a lot more pressing things to be addressed before swearing comes anywhere near the top of anybody's agenda.

And even if we did clear up those problems ahead of swearing in the list we would still be faced with trying to put a lid on players who, by the very nature of the game itself, become adrenaline filled athletes and where you get this, you get swearing I'm afraid.
You ain't gonna stop it !!!
And if it ever did get banned from paintball, I would last about a day, if that....

So my thoughts on banning swearing from paintball.....fcuk that !!!

Sometimes you cant help swear when you get hit close but i dont swear much i just do a tribal dance or a spank the pony dance. In a rugby game or football game all they ever do is swear so that is why paintballers should try and rise above it and not swear being the future role models of sport and let foorballers perish in the dark mist of doom........:D

p.s. some of above are good points but i have waffled and started talking crap.

There's nothing wrong with swearing. It's a common part of sports, and to expect a cuss-free environment is not realistic at any level.

What you don't want to tolerate is bad sportsmanship - berating players or officials or spectators should be penalized, whether swearing is used or not.

i think swearing is part of life in a sport environment cause on many occasions iv bin shot and said "you basta rd" or along them lines it just comes out its always said in jest, but it happens, cant expect people to get shot and go "oh ouch you sponge" its just not gonna happen so just roll with it
