I enjoyed the day, but the fields were a little limiting, The wood land, appeared to be played for the draw by most teams I saw on there... The speedball was just too small, there was no way to get angles, and set up good plays on the field, the rdx tunnel rat liked the tryes in the middle,(thats right in't ste??)... Found the tyre field annoying though, had some guys firing at me through a barral sized hole didn't see him once just the paint appearing infront of the tyres, heading my way....

The tournament as ever was well run, and a good days was had by all....

The theft spoilt teh day for everyone, we all leave are pride and joy in the safe area, and I had never felt the need to get someone to keep their eye on it while I was away...... There are some stinking low life's out there.... Hope the marker turns up real soon .....

Twisted you are just pissed we bet you on the tyre field....

but I do think it was the best game I played in all day!!

Yep 4 games were won all day on the Woodland field (Sabre won from both ends!!) and even the wins went nearly to time, Sabre won there first game with 0.7 sec remaining!!!!!!

I can't really comment on the tyre field only saw the final on it, but i marshalled the semi's on the Speedball field and it was lacking in anywhere to move to (i reckon it was more of a 5 man field) but still narrow.

But as was said well done to SWAT and Bully etc. for getting it all together at short notice.

As for the theft, what can be said but i hope it turns up and whoever nicked it gets the good kickin they deserve!

also. . . . my goddamn legs hurt from walking up and down that bloody hill on the woodland field (i was at the top!)!!!!!

Too right mate, in some respects it was a godsend that you couldnt really move on the woods coz my legs were givin out every time by the time id got there, at least i played two out of out of my three games on it back down the hill

i thought i could get an angle by crawlign in only to find out that there was no one on the right tape i then had to craw back out which was a pain in the arse good fun thow
only i think the marchels wondered what the hell i was doing

yeah baby that was definitely the best game we played all day, close though man as our last man lee took it down from 4-1 to 1-1 i think he was a happy man regardless of losing. Good to play against you guys again, look forward to seein you on our shiny new (no hang on i mean dull n old) supair field for some training sessions soon dude - take it easy fella

PS - try & get all of you guys up for practice with us on the 7th - week before STB Woodland at a special training location

I think we are marshalling the next event, if so we need to save our money, so wont be done as a whole team... although some of us might come down.... waiting to hear from bully if he wants us to marshal


I should have nailed your last guy but, paint was flying everywhere but where I wanted it to... he played well to take 3 of us out.....

uh hu we certainly have bought it its in my mates barn, found somewhere to put it aswell now so were setting up this weekend. Just need some netting before we can play on it but i think steve is sorting some out for us.
Couple of weeks, maybe easter weekend if we get everything sorted and you guys can come over for a days solid ballin - should be cool
