Sorry to hear about your mates loss, i hope it turns up somewhere. This is getting ridiculous, it seems like at every tourney one or more markers have been nicked, either out of cars or out of someones bag. Someone or a group, seems to be targeting the tourney scene. What would it cost to employ someone to watch the cars, spread across all the players about a quid each. Put this forward to the event organisers, and insist it's done at each event. Just the continued prescence of someone, physically watching the cars would deter the tw#ts and keep our gear safe.

Is this my old gun that i sold to Nick?

If so, then it is a red 2001 C+C Lcd with a small series of scrathes on the back of the gun.

When I first heard about thefts at tourneys I figured stuff was going walkies from unattended kit bags during the day. Opportunistic crimes, someone seeing something shiny and having off with it.

I would have suspected a paintballers with a weak conscience, but latter I heard that cars were actually being broken I to get at the stuff, I figured people were planning this. Admittedly it is a bit more serious, but it is a small comfort that it is less likely to be one of the players as it’s such not a crime of opportunity.

A mate of mine on the team also had the idea of using on of those invisible ink securety pens that show up under ultra violate light. You could use it to write your name or something on the inside of the grip frame.

You gotta keep peeps up to date on what's been stolen then we can do our bit by keeping ear to the ground!

It's such a small community, we gotta be able to recover the stolen goods and with a bit of luck catch the b#st#rds too:D
