OK OK I finally get it...and "Where there is apathy let him bring controversy?" So from now on EVERYTHING you say shall be taken with a guppy sized pinch of salt!:p

PS about the animals...did i tell you what happened with the paint grenades (actiually, i think they may have been dye mines) and the horses in the field next door to the site????? Am i getting into the spirit of things now?:D xxx

in many years of playing sports i have seen various charity games. i have even played in a costume in a league rugby match. doing this got us sponsorship money and publicity (the local paper came and took some photos - as charity people like).
when the chicks play in their costumes they will be getting sponsorship money (inc £5 from myself - grab flash - bugout (now ex-bugout) when he is up there and get the money from him), the money is going to a good charity. the press may come out, they will then say that it was for sun, for charity. it also shows the non-player that paintball is not a rambo, hiding in the woods type game, and that people will use it like other sports and make money for charity.
to conclude - make money for charity
- have fun
- publicity for the sport showing that it is not played by cammoed up peopele

isn't this all a good thing:confused:

Usup mate, I haven't got anything against dressing up, all I suggested was don't perpetuate this damaging image of female paintballers. I don't think I could have been clearer.

Please re-read what I've said.... and then read your post again.

OK Rancid - you know who I am now, how about you tell me who you are? Drop me a mail or something if you don't want your real identity revealed to the whole world!:D Name & team should do.
Now you remember me, you'll definitely agree that I'm not the kind to stick to sexist stereotypes!

deary deary me!

What has be happening whilst ive been away!
At the end of the day what the chicks are doing boils down to raisng money for a charity which we all care about. Not down to causing havoic and controversy between female male ballers. We are a FUN team and this is what i purely see this event being FUN!
Now i wont be showing my tanned legs off (HEHEHEHE) as im contemplating which pair of stripey tights to play in, but i will gp for clear instead of pink and black.............if the price is right!!!!

Hope everyone is well going now to read rest of boards...

love steph looking like a lobster...

WISH I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey steph,

I really wish that i would be there to see this but unfortunately we left it too late to get in. Have a good time and if ya email me ya address i'll mail you a check for the cause seeing as i cant be there.

(Oh yeah which hazel is always good to get rid of the bruises. lol)

See ya soon :)

Girls!
Go for it, get dressed up do sommit silly and I for one wont think its some sexist slur against chicks. Blimey I'd love it! Daft not too!
Would it be considered demeaning to men to wear nappies and run about for charity? nah, just a laff.
Women paintballers believe it or not are paintballers as well, and should be treated as such, we all know the score when we play, it can damn hurt, but that dont mean u hafta go all sorry luv and I didnt mean to light u up that bad, sorry. (this is only acceptable if ur trying to charm their pants off, which will only work if they like u anyway!)
Alls fair in love and paintball so lets just get on with the game and stop farting about!

Speak to Spanking Monkeys - at present they have a place in the event - but if I don't have confirmation in the next 24 hours they will be replaced. Get one team between your two teams and come an enjoy the weekend

Good luck to the chicks in raising the charity funds.
